I had pondered this question over a thousand times in my mind. I could never come up with a good answer. It appeared to me that bad people always enjoyed life, and the good people always suffered. Big Mama would say, "Dae'Mon, that's me, good people will get their reward in the end when they reach the gates of heaven." I wasn't so sure about that because the state my personal life was in made it appear that I had reached the gates of hell. I had made two bad relationship choices in the past that left me feeling empty on the inside and yearning for more. I vowed to never love again and was successful for five years. Then, I met someone who offered promises of love, hope and prosperity. I fell deeply in love. Unlike the others though, my heart was left with a wound that was so severe that I wasn't sure if I would recover. And I was left questioning myself, how did this happen to me?
